Independent Living Skills Training (ILST)

Our ILST provides individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries or disabilities with training to enhance their independence within their home and community settings. This role includes the development and implementation of individualized, detailed goal plans to meet the needs of each participant in order to promote independence.

Goals that the ILST may work on with his/her participants are, but are not limited to the following:

  • Community Integration
  • Health & Safety
  • Medication Management
  • Organization
  • Self-Advocacy
  • Socialization
  • Transportation
