Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS)

As a certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), we are knowledgeable, skillful, and trained to complete home evaluations. CAPS have experience in recommending and implementing assistive technology or durable medical equipment in the home. The CAPS will visit the home to identify the current needs of the individual and any potential safety issues. A comprehensive floor map will be developed with recommendations for modifications, adaptability, and durable medical equipment, along with a list of vendors who can help solidify your recommended safe and functional environment. The CAPS also evaluates the structure of the home in order to identify any potential issues that may hinder the completion of modification projects. Lastly, the CAPS can work with your contractor, physical therapist, physicians, etc. to ensure your home promotes life-long comfort!
